The Long Weekend

It was a great long weekend. We had Landon so we jumped in the car Saturday and went to Sherwood Park. It was so great to see the family and let Landon play with his cousins. The boys had a blast playing Hockey and Basketball, well Samantha showed off her new talent of sucking on her toes.

On Monday morning we had a visit from three ninja turtles. They were so cute running around and doing all the ninja tricks. Landon was so excited when Kaden and Colby gave Landon two swords to keep. Thanks guys.

Well it was a fun weekend and I know Landon misses the boys he has already said we need to call them and ask them to come over to our house. Thanks for all the fun.

Trick or Treat

Wow I can not believe we beat Jon on the Halloween blog. Sorry there are so many pictures but it was a big night. It was a night of firsts. We had Landon for the first time on Halloween and boy was it fun. Landon had so much energy he just wanted to run from house to house. He was the best Ninja turtle I had ever seen. He scored and got a ton of candy but the only Candy he really wanted were the chips lol. It was also Samantha's first Halloween ever and her costume was the big guessing game people said she was a sheep or a poodle we even heard she was a cute pig the correct answer was a poodle. She was such a trooper going from door to door getting her daddy and Grandpa Tom candy. Which leads me to the final first of Halloween JON GOT TOM INTO THE SUMO COSTUME! I could not believe it. I was so much fun having Tom go around with the kids I think he even went to a few doors to get candy for himself.

The pumpkin pictures were from the Monday before Halloween the kids carved pumpkins and made spider cookies. Ryan and Landon made a spider dog as well. Kayla made a whole bunch of spider cookies with Grandma well Landon ate the oreos.

It's been a fun week, but now it's time to start planning for Christmas lol (I said that to scare Ryan) Happy Halloween!

Our family oh how we grow

Well here we go again. It has been a long time since we last blogged. sorry about that I guess I am just not to good at keeping everyone up to date. Well Samantha is growing so fast. She is now eating solids. Well trying to eat it she doesn't like her cereal at all she likes the food daddy gives to her like ice cream or pickles and she loves water. The sad news is she will not for the life of her take a bottle. She is making all sorts of funny noises now, her new favorite noise sounds like she is gasping for breath so mommy and daddy do not like that one at all.

Last weekend we went with Jon and Jen to the science center. We had a blast Landon loved the water and was a little afraid of the cloud machine, but once daddy showed him it was not hot and he could put his hand in it he was good to go. Ryan enjoyed the bed of nails as you can see from the picture.

Two Weeks With Landon

This Past weekend well we had Landon we went to Edmonton so he could play with his cousins there. They were all so excited to be having a sleep over, and they were even more excited to see they all had super hero pj's. The rest of the night they were all super heroes right up until it was time for bed.

We started to decorate Landon's room we got him some posters to put up on the walls (yes I am sorry no oilers posters. Landon does not like the oilers to much so it had to be flames). Here is his second poster we put up on the wall It's a cars poster and he (as you can see on his face) just loved that poster.
The first week we had Landon we had a Gilchrist reunion. It was a blast and Landon just loved playing with his cousins. We had a fun game of red rover in which we kicked some major butt. There was also a very intense scavenger hunt and once again Myself, Jon, Irene and Samantha won!
The kids had a blast playing hide and go seek this was their hiding spot The picnic at Bowness Park was a hit. we roasted hot dog and Marshmallows, but I think Landon's favorite was the grape pop.

Landon's New Pet!

We had Landon on a Friday when Ryan had to work which meant it was just me and the kids, so Landon, Samantha and I went down to the pet store and Landon picked out his very own fish. It was no surprise that he picked the Red fish and a green fish tank. We waited until Daddy came home from work (which was not easy for Landon) to put the fish in the water. It was a blast! At first Landon wanted to name the fish daddy (he names all his toys daddy) but Ryan and him talked about some other names for the fish and Landon decided on Goofy.

Trip to Edmonton!

We finally took Samantha on her first trip to Edmonton so she could meet her family, and so Landon could play with his cousins. The kids had a ton of fun. Tyler put bubbles in mom's pond and the kids had a blast playing with them (I don't know how happy mom was about the bubbles but the kids sure loved it). It was a lot of fun seeing everyone and I know Landon and Samantha had fun too even though Samantha cried the whole time we were there. Let's hope she will be happier next time we come up.

Baby Blessing

Okay so Ryan and I got a little behind on our blog again so here is the update. Well on June 10th was Samantha's baby blessing. It went great we had a ton of family support and Samantha as usual looked adorable! Ryan on the other hand was a little stressed out due to the fact that not only did he have to bless Samantha but he had to give a talk. He did amazing with both tasks. It is such a blessing to have a worthy priesthood holder in our home I love watching Ryan use his priesthood. Anyways back to Samantha as I said she looked so cute wearing a dress my mom made for her out of the left over material from my wedding dress and wrapped in a blanket given to us from Aunt Suzanne (Thanks mom and Aunt Suzanne). It was also great to have Landon there he is such a good brother to Samantha the past weekend he helped daddy and mama Tiffany watch Samantha and gave her lot's of Kisses.

Now that Ryan and I got our Camera fixed you can expect a lot more blogs from us, so Mark and Brooke you don't have to go off Jon and Jen's blog to see pics of us lol.
